Creating Accts in ClientExec to WHM

Hello,

Well I have am having a problem setting up accounts in WHM using ClientExec. I was doing test accounts to make sure that they work. I have the server setup to my main ip, DNS all correct and such. User for the server is set as root, and Access hash is the root password. I have it set to use SSL. Now when creating packages I have the packages setup like the package name in WHM is Basic. So I named the package in the types and packages setting Basic. Now when I create an account to test it using the signup form I recieve an email that shows this:

Cpanel Plugin
More options 9:00am (3½ hours ago)

Sorry, we could not create the account. That Package was not found on the serverhere is the list of plans found on the server:

There are also many other packages on the server so I am thinking it may be having a problem connecting to the server. All help is GREATLY appreciated! Thanks for your time,

Chris Kirk

The package name needs to be exactly the same both on the server (via WHM) and ClientExec (i.e.: case sensitive).

I'd also check their forums for future reference: http://www.clientexec.com/forum/.

Is the cPanel server the same as where CE is loaded; I know this has to be the same.

I've heard a few other having issues as this that is wasn't any of the quick fixes. If it is in fact none of these, try submitting a ticket, they will work closely with you until it is resolved.

I would submit a ticket but my server company supplied the license to me so I don't have access to their support center.

I've had the same sort of issue with support, CE won't support you direct, you have to get your supplier to submit the ticket on your behalf.

You mention the acces hash is the root password, you actually want the Remote Access Key from WHM, look under the Cluster/Remote Access menu.

Give this a whirl and see if it works.

You might also want to create yourself a reseller account and use this for CE access, I'd be a bit twitchy about direct access as root. Maybe I'm just paranoid

I changed the access hash to the remote access key and checked the package names to make sure they were all the same and it is still giving my dificulties. Lets hope my supplier responds soon.

I even tried this out on my other server and still didn't get it to work. I setup a reseller account to try and work it that way but it still isn't working. if anyone has any ideas please post them here that would help a ton!

You've not copied the --- BEGIN & ---END lines of the access key ? You want just the HEX string from WHM.

I've only tried it using a reseller account, not as root.

Other than that I'm out of ideas, mine just worked out of the box

Sorry, wasn't aware that you had to go through your supplier. Seems like your having more problems than the usual. Unfortunately, you will have to wait and see what your reseller responds.

You might want to inquire with CE, I think they might have a way to support you directly via a support contract. Depending on your suppliers response time, it my be better to just purchase it. It isn't expensive. Just a recommendation..

You can buy support direct from CE, but your supplier should just riase the issue on your behalf. I have to specifically request that they raise a call with CE.

Is this true?
It means that even though Clientexec allows you to enter server informations (including Cpanel plug-ins that create accounts), ones that are separate from the one that CE is loaded, CE is still unable to create accounts on other servers?
