Hi all,

I've just finished a few projects and am looking for some more work. If anyone is interested in hiring akashik.net for design work feel free to email. Rates are pretty good, and it's all custom work (no cookie-cutter sites for you my friends!).

Also, an ISP/Hosts looking for a design guy to work 'behind the scenes' for you, let me know as well.

Poke wildly at my sig to take a look at some of the work done so far (though I much prefer the up and coming http://www.akashik.net/aknet site myself).

akashik@akashik.net or prod the email button under this post.

Greg Moore

I personally don't think it's a big deal, I also think many of the other members will agree with me!

Did it offend you? I doubt it..

I bet what you said was worse then anything he has ever said.

Wha wha wha whut???

Let me make something clear here : I was simply ribbing Greg, who is a good friend I've come to known over the last few months. I know he'll take this in his stride and appreciate the humor. Obviously someone else doesn't.

As for the Dana comment, I was simply asking him if he had seen Dana's previous thread asking for contacts as to outsourcing web designing....

We don't really need smart-arse comments, thank you....

BC,

*lol* Yeah it is!! I've been eating rat poison just to fill my stomach for weeks (Ohhhh the pain.....)

Just kidding. Just to save BC from being flamed all over, he's an Aussie too and we're all pretty used to our own odd sense of humor. It's the same attitude that makes us praise our heros till they are a success, at which point we go out of our way to tear them down to our level again *shrug*

Oh I emailed Dana too, and we might be working something out as soon as she gets her domain stuff worked out.

Actually your quote was well below my usual price, and FAR below market value. You get what you pay for Kunal, and if you feel my prices are too high then that's your choice.

*chuckles*

True..... You charge what you feel is suitable for your quality of work. And in Greg's (and my) cases, we feel fair is fair.

Of course, it's when 'so-called-Frontpage-idiots-who-think-they're-web-designers-because-they-use-Frontpage' people charge an absurd amount per hour and produce such unbelievably crappy results that we start getting irritated...

That all said and done, if exchange rates aren't favorable... Boo-hoo to you.

Kunal,

No offense taken.. I have a killer flu right now so I guess I may come across a little cranky Rest assured lots of coffee, aspirin, and TLC and I'll be fighting fit again. Good thing I have a job where I can sit on my can all day.

Oh yeah the rather large amount of chocolate covered coffee beans I bought yesterday are helping a lot too! *lol*

*twitch twitch*
