SSL for dedicated server
Hi,
I'm planning to get a new ssl cert. for my new dedicated server. Have anyone use Godaddy SSL. Are they good?
Or do you guys recommend Geotrust?
Thanks,

I'll go with the Geotrust QuickSSL from ev1servers.net . The Godaddy SSL is new.

Go with some known names. if you want a cheaper one, go with freessl.com. They offer Single root certificate for $29 (If you join their reseller program).

I would use GeoTrust, looks professional and price is reasonable.

If you used chained cert. you need to install the intermediate chain cert. as well as your own cert/key.

I used the godaddy SSL cert for one of my sites. I have had no problems. They're aparently a root provider, so I was able to avoid all the problems with chained and free SSL programs you are talking about. I say give them a try...
