I've been listening to the Sennheiser HD-555 all day today and very impressed with the sound quality.
I order the HD-570 instead since it's supposedly better than the 555.
Now my question is, on the Sennheiser website they say the 570 is ideal for classical music listener. I listen to classical too, but not all the time. So how does the 570 compare to 555 in other aspect like rock music or action movies..? Or the difference will be so little I won't be able to recognize?

Or any other comments on the 570? Anyone here using Sennheiser also?

And what does the "Digital output only" option in the sound card do?

How much of an audiophile are you? The only way to really know for sure is to listen to both before you make your choice. No two persons' ears hear the same.

Chances are you'll hardly know the difference, if at all, but I would seriously consider taking a test run of both before you make your final purchase. Sennheiser makes excellent headphones, so I doubt you'll be disappointed either way.
