I'd give it a go myself , but at this moment in time i can't afford to experiment on my server.

I need Apache to limit Ip connections for people downloading a particular type of file (zip; all in a couple of directories). I've been told that mod_throttle is the answer.

I would like it installed on one server for now.
A small explination of the configuration is a must too.
