Monitor program Beta Testers Needed

Greetings,
After months of in depth work, ltn-monitor is (almost) ready to open up the doors to the public. In that respect, I need a few beta testing users. Here's the details and what you'll get from it:

All beta test users will have 1 active ip monitored (consisting of 1 control panel check set (10-15 checks)) for the lifetime of the ltn-monitor program.

All beta test users will be responsible for their own notification addresses (email). We provide the checks, you provide the responses

All beta test users will be required (once the program is opened) to place a text based linkback to ltn-monitor on their webpage, in accordance with the program terms and conditions.

Basically, I'm offering this program as a free resource for the monitoring of 1 server per individual for a limited time, in an effort to improve the program itself. If this is something you're interested in, please visit LTN-Monitor and sign up, then use the contact us link to request your ip.

Here's to hoping the service is up and running 100% by October!!!

Well I was trying to test out this system but got this nasty little message:

You have been banned from this server for attempting to access ip's which are not your own
This ip address has been banned from the system for -0.0416666666667 days for System Hack Attempts
. You'll need to contact the admin for a reprieve.

I think it still needs some work.

Now getting this as well:

OOPS
24.73.147.144 was banned on Tue Aug 17 ,2004 for System Hack Attempts.
You have -1 hours remaining in this ban.
The reason for banning was System Hack Attempts.

If you feel this is in error, please email my webmaster.
This is the only way that this will be removed before it automatically expires from my cache.

That's actually typical, trying to access something you shouldn't means you get banned, pretty simple there. The security of that application is quite there.
Just out of curiosity, what WERE you trying to do, exactly where were you, what did you click? PM me that and I"ll look at it.

Another bug, your system sent me a password that consisted of all numbers and one capital letter O. That can be tricky to figure out. Don't know if you can eliminate the letters I and O from the generator but it's common practice.

Another bug --- chose San Jose as where to check from then added my url and it gave me this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: insert_illusions_url() in /home/wolf/domains/ltn-monitor.net/public_html/check_admin.php on line 1381

But it added it to the system.

Got it and solved.
I might be able to eliminate I and O from the passwords, but c&p usually is the best response for initial passwords from what I've seen. I'll see how complicated it'd be to rewrite the generator.
Keep in mind the add a url part is only designed to test urls. For full access to one ip, all you need to do is notify me as instructed and I'll edit your account so that option shows that you can do that

HTH

Take another look at your remote monitoring window. It fills up my screen and even covers the task bar.

Solved, once again, though the site really isn't designed for IE, rather mozilla or firefox, as IE doesn't render stylesheets well at all.
Took a minute to figure out what you were talking about, then I just loaded up ie and it hit.

Looks good though. A tad bit confusing, but I'm getting around ok. Are you going to offer remote statistics?

It's far from perfect, but it's fit me fine over the past few months, and customers seem to like it so far. I just want to make sure all the kinks (as we've seen there are ) are worked out before things go officially public.

Will I be releasing stats publicly?
If you go into your account -> check admin -> show/edit ip's and click on the ip stats link, one of those links at the top of the page is a graph link. That, once it's finished I will be releasing for usage, however at the current time it's not finished, as it relies on numbers, not the way I want to do things. I'm getting there though.

Not sure what I clicked to get banned like that. I was just clicking around in the account with the links above. If you should not be able to click something then why would it be there?

Thanks wolfstream! I must say I was working with him via e-mail on the same problems here & wolfstream was very prompt at answering the questions.

I did not even tell him about the full screen issue - I thought I hit the wrong button LOL
