What are the server specs for this Value Hosting?
We currently utilize Dell PowerEdge 750 rackmount servers for our Value Hosting.
- Web Server specs: P4/3400 MHz, 800 MHz FSB (with HT), 1.5 GB of DDR memory, 7200 rpm SATA drive
- MySQL/Mail Server specs: P4/3200 MHz, 800 MHz FSB (with HT), 1.5 GB of DDR memory, 7200 rpm SATA drive
Where are the servers located, and what bandwidth providers will you be using for this Value Hosting?
The servers will be located in our private cage at Equinix (Secaucus, NJ). We are utilizing Peer1 Network as our main bandwidth provider. NAC will be added as a backup link in the near future.
What is Value Hosting and how does it differ from your Premium Hosting?
Value Hosting is our new service offering and it differs from our Premium Hosting in some ways, such as:
- Value Hosting is geared more towards personal/hobby web sites whereas Premium Hosting will be geared towards a more demanding web presence needing higher SLA (ecommerce/business sites, etc).
- Value Hosting receives higher than industry standard uptime guarantee of 99.5% while Premium Hosting receives 99.9% uptime guarantee.
- Value Hosting utilizes Peer1 Network whereas Premium Hosting will
stay on our pure Internap network.
- Value Hosting utilizes P4 servers with SATA drive, whereas Premium
Hosting will utilize (dual) Xeon servers with SCSI drives.
- PgSQL and MSSQL databases will not be supported under our Value Hosting.
- Premium Hosting is geared more towards providing many/multiple domains support than Value Hosting

What kind of support level do we get with Value Hosting?
Like Premium Hosting, you can expect the same level of support from our knowledgeable, dependable, and caring support technicians. Unlike Premium Hosting, at least initially, general support comes during business hours only. We will still, of course, respond for emergency support requests 24/7/365.
