Reseller Hosting Business for SALE
Hello,
I'm forced to sell my whole reseller hosting business due to PaySystems teminating all IBA accounts.
The company was started in October 2002, currently there are 56 customers with MONTHLY recurring transactions of 1,528.00 USD.
All customers are with me for over a year, almost all of them are from the beginning.
Here is customer/plan breakdown:
1 Special Account - $10/month - 1GB disk space / 10GB bandwidth
40 Reseller #1 - $25/month - 1Gb disk space / 20GB bandwidth
10 Reseller #2 - $35/month - 2GB disk space / 35GB bandwidth
3 Reseller #3 - $45/month - 3GB disk space / 50GB bandwidth
There are 2 monthly addons purchased for $16 and $17.
All customers are located on 2 dedicated servers:
1. Located at DedicatedNOW P4 1.7GHz with 1GB RAM, Cpanel/WHM, 15 IP addresses, 1000GB
bandwidth - $149/month
2. Located at EV1 - DELL Dual Xeon 2GHz with 1GB RAM, 2*73 GB SCSI HDD, 1200GB Bandiwdth , CPanel/WHM - $259/month
The servers are hardly loaded, load ~0.5-0.8
The sale also includes nice looking web site, domain names (main company domain and anonymous for server hostnames), PerlDesk license.
I want to sell whole business and I would prefer someone to take over dedicated servers and move customers to their own billing (merchant account).
Please contact me by PM,email. I will provide my AIM if someone is seriously interested.

Wow,
I am truly saddened by the effect that Paysystems shutting down may have on the industry as a whole. I wish you the best of luck with things, I'll mssg a few people about this thread who are active buyers of such companies. Good luck with everything, and if there's anything I can do to help, just let me know.
Sincerely,
|

Just wondering, although you've most likely gone over it every which way you can in your head. Most hosting companies, are going to see, some effects with this situation, it's just too big not to. Most would also be willing to help out perhaps, giving you a little time to get back on your feet (a month perhaps). Is there anyway that you could hang onto things, contacting your providers, alerting them to the situation, and see what can be done to assist you? That's personally what I would do, is to try and work some magic now with your providers, for some extensions, with a payment plan ready to go when you contacted them.
Just my thoughts,
Sincerely,
|

Matt, I could easily afford to pay for my servers etc for the next few months, that is not a problem. I'm afraid that I will switch to another 3rd party processing company and it will happen again, as Visa/MC have changed their policies ; 2checkout, WorldPay may be next. I cannot get US merchant account as I'm not US based , I could get one here in EU but they do not allow me to charge in USD.
I'm waiting for offers if I do not receive anything interesting I will probably go for 2co account and switch my customers to it.
I expect 6 month of revenue to get for my current customers, but I really do not know how much customers/businesses are worth now.
Hosting is such a risky business, anything can go wrong, hackers, DDOS, hardware, payment companies go bankrupt ... ehhh, need to find something less stressful.

I very much doubt that WorldPay will be affected by this. They are part of the Royal Bank of Scotland group, and also are technically not a third party processor.
I wish you all the best with whatever you decide to do...
Best regards,
Craig.

Very true, about the risks taken, but that's ultimately every job IMHO. The beauty of hosting, is for me, the intricacies, and daily changes which occur. I've been a number cruncher, and sitting there all day doing that was boring to me. I do wish you the best in your endeavors, and hope that you decide to stick things out.
Sincerely,

Strange. I find the hosting biz to be relaxing. Yes, there are flurries of activity, but the controls are a defined subset, and the skills required not overly challanging. And I like to talk with the clients when it comes up from time to time. Of course it helps to have an overqualified tech department with the aptitude and will for uptime...

I haven't checked out your website, but would it not be possible for your ordering system to show a price in USD but then state that it will be billed in EUROS. It is not that hard to build currency converter into a billing system.
We strangely do the opposite thing. We are Australian based but use Paypal for International orders. Since Paypal only transacts in USD, on our website we show either AUD or USD pricing but always convert final price to USD for the payment.
Or do you try to disguise the fact that you are EU based because of the sensitive US market that only likes to buy locally?

How many domains are hosted between the two servers? Do you have a per server breakdown of how many are on each box? What are the current disk space usage details? What is the support volume? All ticket based I assume?
Where did your site go?

If this offer is still available. Biznesshosting Inc. Will be happy to help you in this time where the companies you trust most are just not their for you when you need them most.
We will be happy to work with you in either a one time fee and or multi-payments. can you please PM me directly with what you would consider as an honest offer and maybe a telephone number so that we can talk directly over the phone.
