How can you get in contact with someone who doesn't have whois info posted?

I'm trying to get in contact with the owner of historynotes.com, and apparently there is no whois information for that site.

Is there any other way I can get in contact with him?

You could try to send an email to webmaster or admin or contact or info @ historynotes.com .... Or you could try to check the whois info from a whois history service (ie: www.whois.sc) ... I see that the domain expires soon and that it doesnt have a website. Try to catch it when it drops... (manualy or with a drop service)

Maybe they were experiencing some problems with their whois database, that's perfectly normal, I've seen almost every whois server experience issues in the past, including network solutions' whois server.

If it displays a blank whois just try a few minutes/hours later.

Yes indeed. A short while ago, even the eNom whois was wacky and showing all types weird stuff, so it happens from time to time with everybody.
