Insiderhosting purchases HTTPme.com!

Press Release
Source: Insiderhosting.com
Tuesday August 3, 2004 8:00 PM PST
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

My name is Steven Mizrahie and I am the President of Insiderhosting. As many of you are now aware, HTTPme has changed hands, and I am the new sole owner. Aussie Bob founded this company on a set of core principles; strong client interaction, reliability and a sustainable business model. Both Bob and myself share the same fundamental business beliefs, that it is our job to always provide you with the highest level of service 24/7.

Here is a taste of things to come:

1) RVskin will be installed on ALL servers starting tomorrow.

2) We will be installing anonymous SSL certificates on all servers, and expect this to be done by the end of this week.

3) New HTTPme servers will have the following spec:

Intel Dual Xeon 2.6GHZ
2GB RAM
3 x 120GB SATA drives with Hardware RAID.
Redundant Power Supplies

These are fantastic servers, with heaps of grunt and with redundant hard drives and redundant power supplies.

4) Managed dedicated servers, where we take care of everything from kernel upgrades, to upgrading modules like php/mysql, etc.. We will have introductory pricing posted on the site by Friday.

5) We have physical access to all servers that we manage. In our Los Angeles facility, we have multiple gigabit connections to our upstream providers to ensure rock solid network stability and capacity. I will post pictures of the facility and network infrastructure.

6) We intend to keep current servers with NAC, as they are a great facility with excellent bandwidth.

7) Disaster Recovery:

It is our belief that having and well documented backup/disaster recovery plan is essential. Having said that, we are deploying NAS servers, which will retain a weekly copy of all servers content/files. These NAS servers will be hosted in a remote location for the utmost in redundancy.

8) Gradual Migration away from Paysystems through the implementation of our own Merchant account, with ModernBill. This will allow us and our clients a more flexible billing platform. We have extensive experience with ModernBill and see this as a great improvement on the often problematic Paysystems.

In closing, we look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship, and intend on providing you with unparalleled service, which will enable your business to grow. I am honored to have the opportunity, along with my team, to serve you.
