LayeredTech moving to Savvis
It seems that LayeredTech is unable to get more colo space from theplanet, so new servers will be brought online in the Savvis Dallas facility...
I haven't heard much of Savvis for a few years, does anyone know about their datacenter? I love ThePlanet so much, and Savvis isn't volunteering any information.

Lemme clear some things up. I know Todd, Chris, and all the Guys at LayeredTech. They ARE NOT moving to Savvis. Yes, they have looked at the possibility of adding additional space at Savvis since TP is out of space but they ARE NOT moving. Just thought I would clarify that. You will see alot of improvements in the coming year I feel from LayeredTech as they ramp up new solutions.

nobody said they were moving.... just adding additional space which I would welcome, it's always nice to have space available in multiple dc(s) (even though tp might be full at the moment more might be available in the future allowing for more network choice)

Yep, I just spoke to Chris and he told me all new servers will be housed at savvis, as theplanet have no space left. In fact, he told me that they hoped the first servers in savvis would be this week, along with some great pricing on Plesk licenses.

According to them, they didn't think CPanel pricing would change.

DC2 = DLLSTX4. I know that SM has a POP and some space (mostly related to their disaster recovery business, I believe) at the Dallas Infomart (making that DLLSTX1), colo and dedicateds at DLLSTX2, and only dedicateds at DLLSTX4. What happened to DLLSTX3?
