Domain Registration Deal With Free Webhosting
I wish to register 2 domains (.com)'s
What is a good site to get a good deal for registering domain names. I also know of some sites that offer you free webhosting for a period of time if you register a domain with them. But I forgot where I've seen it.
Any comments is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

godaddy.com is rather cheap with $ 8.95 per domain
If you let the host register your domainnames be very careful that they register them in YOUR name, not in theirs.

I use stargateinc.com for registering my domains, $8/yearly per domain if you register two or more at once.
If you search through WHT you'll find a lot of horror stories from people who have registered or transfered their domains to their host. You'd probably be much better off just registering it seperatley.
Good luck with your search

Check out: http://jumpdomain.com/
$12.99/domain plus free hosting for 30 days.
I've been their domain registration service for around 2 years now, no problems at all.

Check out anydotdomain.com I have used them before to register a domain name. The prices are CHEAP and they give you free webhosting for 3 months. (not bad)

Stay away from RegisterFly. There is a glitch in their registration system that causes some names to be malformed, no matter how many times you type it correctly. You won't even know anything's wrong until days later when you're still trying to find out why your intended name won't work. Also, their phone number just goes to an answering machine that directs you to use their online ticketing system. It takes days for them to respond to tickets, and when they do they are EXTREMELY rude and unhelpful. They called me all kinds of names, telling me how stupid I am and how I shouldn't be allowed to use the internet. It was unreal.
My webhost (valuablehost.com) saved my butt by helping me register through his company's hosting. Being able to talk to a human being makes ALL the difference for me. Whoever you choose, make sure there's an actual phone number/live chat/etc. with an actual sales/tech services rep who can answer your questions. Look for all the same qualities you would in a webhosting company. If you want to register a name for free with your host, I would recommend making sure you actually fill out the registration stuff youself, just like you would if you were paying for it.

I'm happy with the service from buydomains.com where I've had about 6 domains for about 2 years. $16 per year, minimum 2 years for new domains but I think 1 year for transfers. They seem to be reliable and their web admin area is easy to use. Simple DNS (A and MX), http forwarding and catch-all email forwarding is included but you don't have to use any of that if you don't want to.

I personally say www.1coms.com - they take Paypal and register the domains pretty fast. I just registered 2 domains through them. Looks good.

I use directNIC for both my domains. They are more pricier than others ($15), but their support is pretty good, and they're always trying to improve their service.

• 20MB disk space
• 500MB traffic
• 1 Email Account
• 1 Email Forward
• 1 Email Auto responder
• Unlimited FTP updates
With catalog.com and all FREE!
And read the small print, "$35 Domain Registration Required."
I am not sure if it is free hosting for life? Or free hosting for that year...
