Can anyone point me to a software package (does not have to be free/shareware) that will run on my hosted site and provide web conferencing capabilities.

We would like to add the specific capabilities where a custoemr can log in, and watch an application running on one of our computers.

I've looking into some of the web based "pay as you go" services ~ WebEx ~ are there any similar programs that I could run on my own server?

I have used this software and talked to the developer. It is cool stuff, I woudl highly recommend it.

Would anyone be willing to re-input on this thread? I would like to find a more affordable alternative to multimedia conferencing applications like Microsoft Office Live Meeting , Webex, Genesys meeting center, etc. with a self hosted solution for presenting to an audiance of around 50 people. I would like to be able to buy the application for a flat fee & run it from my own (shared) webserver if possible. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I dont need video (conf.) but would like to have chat , powerpoint presentations, Desktop share, and audio brodcast from the presenter to the audiance. I also dont want any third party software necessary for the audience computers.

I use a program called GoToMeeting.com where I work full time as support. It allows you to present your screen but also if you want you can use it to take control of the other persons screen. Which i personally love since it's alot easier to fix something gone wrong by doing it myself instead of talking them through it. GoToMeeting is monthly or yearly not for time used.

Another one if you want to just allow your users to view your screen then Glance.net I have a customer at Ernst & Young that uses it and it's actually quite nice also. But you can't take control of there computer if you ever needed to do that. and again it's monthly/yearly
