ANMMark;
the 3D servers and the sounds you are using in the template header is ripped from one of our designs www.vip-hosting.com , i require you remove it immediately.
I'm warning anyone from buying this template.Last edited by Web Rhino; 07-28-2004 at 03:35 PM.

The sound however, is audibly nothing close to the site you have mentioned.
In any case, as also discussed with Gen-T, the servers in the header can be changed quite quickly. My initial intention was to model and render servers for the flash, but over the weekend, I did not get the chance to do so. So, I asked a staff member to get me some server images, while I was out. As far as I know, he obtained them randomly.
Again, with no intention of ripping, I am more than willing to change the servers in the header.
However, the sound effects stay, as they are similar, but quite obviously not the same.

I was initially interested in purchasing the template.
I knew the servers looked familiar, so I sent Mark a pm about it, to make sure everything was ok. He told me upfront that he was not aware of the source where the server images came from, and that one of his employees obtained them. I told him they look very familiar to me, and soon after discovered that they were from the "web rhino" creation of VIP-Hosting.
So, it would appear that Mark's employee has some explaining to do, both to Mark and Web Rhino.

What does this supposed to mean????
and editing the sound slightly is still ripping to me.
While I have heard of WebRhino, I had not seen VIP prior to this, to know where they came from.
As for the sound effects....I guess half of the net, whom use flash are also ripping you. The sound is not the same, I know for a fact that it also did not come from any site you have created.
I'm certainly an outspoken person when it comes to someone ripping another design, and I disagree with it whole heartedly, and have offered to go on with my initial plan of modelling servers for the header.
However, when someone clearly takes credit for something, just for the hell of it...then it's a different story. Half (about 2 secs of it) of the beep Pop sound used in this header, has been used on our main site since July of 2003.

Again, I take full blame. I should have been more clear with my instruction.

I'm not going to debate this over;
You have put a template with our servers for sale-what if it was sold?, i don't want to hurt your business, but how do i know that you are telling the truth??!» Poised.com - Marketing with Passion

For the record, I have no doubts about Mark's word. I've seen his own site get ripped before (multiple times I think Mark?) and I know he is indeed outspoken about such things. The fact the he is not trying to push the blame on his employee for this, is big of him, though I still think he should take some action towards his employee for taking web rhino's servers. That was just wrong.

I'm in the process of modelling new servers for the template
So maybe that will get us somewhere? I sincerely apologize for the issue, and hope that you'll see fit to put it behind you.
The sounds stay however, as they are not your's, nor did they come from anything you have done.

But Mark should be careful next time, there is a clear rule against using someone else elements, and it might get you banned, i'm not going to withdraw my report to the moderators, but Mark should worry about their reaction to breaking the forum rules.» Poised.com - Marketing with Passion

I mentioned to mark before he aired this for sale that the servers look familiar to me, ah well....it's a shame that they were taken from VIP-Hosting.com

So well, is this auction going on or not?. Just get another server and throw it on there. That is not the nicest part of the template
