    What does O.O mean??

    I get it ALL the time and yet I have no idea what it means. Their are many different varieties such as:

    O.o
    O.O
    o.O
    o_O
    O_o
    0_o

    but what do they all mean???

    They are 'smiles' O = An wide open eye. . = a nose and o = a semi closed eye.

    _ = a mouth

    Usually those are weirded out smilies..

    O_o means you're confused, like of like "whoa?!?!"
    O_O is total shock, or watching very intently

    The other ones you have are just variations of these too

    I always prefered this one:

    ^_^

    as a smiley, and:

    ^_^;

    as a nervous smile. Of course anime has a lot to do with that.

    Aye, although I would prefere to use the graphic smilies. It's not as if MSN doesn't have them.
