register.com problem with automailer?

Hi!

I keep on trying to change the contact info and DNS info for one of the domains I am managing which was first registered with register.com . Once I am done, it does not automatically make the changes. Rather it sends an email to one of my addresses for confirmation purposes. I love this feature actually - some added security. Although I rather not go through this hassle.

Anyway, the problem is that the automailer seemed not to be working. I tried sending a test email to my account and the mail went through. Now, I am still waiting for that email coming from register.com. I tried yesterday, but the email did not arrive. I tried today and the email is still nonexistent in my mailbox.

Do you have similar experiences? I contacted register.com through their support form, but I still haven't received any reply. If there is somebody here from register.com, please PM me so that we can iron this thing out.

Thanks.

The email should come within one minute.

I made some changes to the DNS for one of my sites with register.com on friday and again on saturday. (I goofed)

Worked without any problems.

Hmm, you seem to have missed the point in my (entertaining) story

Let me say it in a different way:

I don't think it will matter if you wait another day or another week. If you did not receive that email immediatly it won't come at all.

yeah...

Hi!

Their (register.com) automailer is indeed not functioning. How come? I tried again yesterday but to no avail. I cannot change my hosting because I cannot change the DNS.

I cannot even change anything at all. This system is not quite effective as I see it. Oh boy. CALLING... for register.com staff...
when you do come back of your holiday vacation... do check your mails from me... and yes, do check your form mailer if it is still working. My email account that is listed in there is working perfectly.
