As I am planning to start domain reselling from my website I would like to hear about your experiences with different domain reseller programs. Which registrar do you think have the best domain reseller program?

I am looking for a reseller program with the following qualifications:

- low retail pricing for com, net, org, biz and info domains
- highly customizable reseller interface (not just templates!)
- user friendly account management for customers
- must be able to use registrars nameservers
- must include free parking option
- must include url forwarding option

hi all,

I am also interested in eNom's reseller program and would appreciate if any of you could shed some light on the following:

1. can eNom be fully integrated into my website, using PHP as the underlying script language to handle the registrations etc.

If PHP is ok, does anyone have any examples, just to see the complexity of the things .. does it involve a lot of 'programming' on my side .. or am I as a reseller provided with almost everything and just need to setup forms and similar?

Any info would be appreciated, especially if you have done this with eNom before ..

Btw, I wouldn't mind if people suggested any other good registrars for resellers with the type of service/features that eNom offers.

When I tried to implement it (quite a bit ago), the perl version of the api was fine, the php one was bunk (couldn't get it to work). I have to go back at it and try it again...

to be honest I don't care which scripting language it uses as long as my servers support it, and it doesn't require any programming as such on my part ..


if it's do-able with perl and there are step by step tutorials on what to do and how to do it, well that's fine with me!

I was just pointing out 'PHP' in my previous post as it seems like the most widely used scripting language nowadays ..

so from experience, is/was it difficult setting it all up using perl, or does it require any programming?

I'm contemplating using godaddy.com

Nice easy to use interface and easily customizable....

however when I do a whois it tells me that my domain is available for registration which leads me to believe they have some update issues with their databases.
