I originally posted this to web domain names forum but I saw that it had low traffic compared with reseller forum and after all resellers and web hosting providers know better about this issue.
So the question is : Do you think 2nd level regional domain name (ex. info.xx) can be used as registry service (a dom.name.example
www.yourname.info.xx where xx is a country code) and sell internationally ?

I also posted a poll there
I seek a lot and I ask even more so the other days I had a discussion with a registrar representative and he told me that even new TLDs don¢t have the numbers they expected.
Only the .cc has better position in the market because of the time they launched their service when it was nearly the first alternative apart from .com.net.org
I know .cc is a regional TLD and it was bought from Cocos (Keeling) Islands authorities to be exploited in an international level.
I saw also centralnic.com that does this job with many two letters domains.
Thanks
