Valueweb to increase prices!!!

Although most hosting companies are reducing their prices valueweb has decided to increase them!!!!!

"On June 20th, the price for new ValueWeb standard accounts was raised to $24.95. As a benefit to our existing customers we are holding the price for your existing accounts to $21.95, a $2 increase"

Considering that in the past months I have been sufering with their mail servers I believe that it is time for me to start looking for another host. However, I have to admit that despite receiving emails with tremendous delais their HTTP uptime has been great.

Can anyone recommend another host with similar features?

Thanks
Gregory

Quite a few hosts I noticed are raising the rates for their plans. But there are many others that still offer decent prices. Doing a search on this mboard should locate some.

Does this mean ValueWeb is raising their prices on their current customers as well? :-/ If so, not a good business move; case in point: this thread.

Try the Host Quote feature to find a new web host for you.

Bro, this thread represents one person with them. Hardly an issue.

The increase in plan price revenue will outweigh any lost customer revenue. They are proablly raising this to get a better handle on the low-end dedicated server war.
