limit apache for one user

Hello guyz,

i wanted some help if you dont mind, i am getting about 130+ requests in apache all from one site/user. Is there anything i could do to decrease/limit this user from exceeding a limit.

Look at this

Code:
Current Time: Wednesday, 14-Jul-2004 02:30:59 GST
Restart Time: Wednesday, 14-Jul-2004 01:33:52 GST
Parent Server Generation: 0
Server uptime: 57 minutes 7 seconds
Total accesses: 52456 - Total Traffic: 169.5 MB
CPU Usage: u346.35 s65.79 cu.98 cs1 - 12.1% CPU load
15.3 requests/sec - 50.6 kB/second - 3387 B/request
246 requests currently being processed, 99 idle servers

and problem is that memory usage is constant at 50-60+% and not less with 2GB's of ram on board.

Any suggestions?

one more thing, i could not wait till his bandwidth finished since he is serving almost nothing.

Thanks in advance.

Yes you could, you need to firstly optimize your Apache...by doing this...would you please provide us the httpd.conf

Before posting it here, try set
MaxRequestsPerChild 50

and see it there is much changes...PLEASE CHANGE THAT DURING PEAK HOURS!

=)

Thanks for your replies both, but i would ask for one more thing, what could be the best apache configuration i could use? taking into consideration that i own a Dual xeon 3.06ghz server with 2GB's of ram.

and, i noticed that at about 190-220 requests, in WHM the ram usage is shown to be 60% used, however when i use the top commnd i could notice that occupied ram is more than %95.

thanks again.

something strange that i also noticed, is that the apache is calculating the traffic in a wrong way, for example while the server might have used 10GB in 10 hours, the apache traffic would only show 700MB etc...anyidea what could be causing this?
