Server4Sale - Bad Experiences...
Ok, On friday, I ordered and paid for 2 servers from server4sale.com. They gladly accepted, and I havn't heard from them since. I tried contacting them briefly on AIM, and I got a simple response of they would be up Sunday, and now it's Monday afternoon and still no word, and I got clients on my heels 24/7 also waiting for these servers... If I recieve no word by 10PM tonight, I am going to appeal for a refund.
Has anyone here had similar problems with this company?

If you order a server without a setup time guarantee, don't expect a guaranteed setup time.

Yes, but I'd appreciate them to stick to their word and have it setup when they told me it'd be setup. The only reason I went with them at the time is because they told me they would be able to get it setup by Sunday. Obviously not.

I think they are a reseller of burst.net, Check up with them, they might be able to help.

Ok, I gave them a call, and they said they can't give any information, and I have to contact server4sale, which isn't responding to me.

Burst doesn't normally setup servers over weekends, so I don't know why you were promised a weekend setup date if you ordered on a Friday... Actually, Burst's first day shift ends at 6 and their second shift starts around 5:30 I think (I believe they do overlap by a bit), so there are probably more people than ever in there. More build staff come in the evenings a few nights a week, so your server could be done today.

DivineHost, Your server might be done in about 3-4 hours from now. If not, it will be delayed till tomorrow.
However, its odd that no one at server4sale is responding to your queries. I have heard good things about them in the past ~(

From our breif conversation on saturday (in which he said it'd be ready Sunday), he said the servers were ready, it's just DirectAdmin & cPanel wasn't setup yet...

Ummmmmmmmmmm i have seen burst.net install cpanel on sundays... Not sure whats keeping them up... Still no reply from them ?

July 3, 2004, 12:17 am , Signed up for a Server. Didnot follow procedure... Didnt pay as was told. We placed the order for DA install as a good faith. Next thing client hanged us in between for 24+ hrs if he wants the server or not and then canceled it. Thats fine by us.
After 1 week client directly went ahead and placed an order without consulting us that if we even have it in stock or not...
On saturday morning 12PM asking us the status for it. While i was away and wasnt aware if there is a new order place as 99.9% of our client do ask us first for availability in stock.
As soon as I got to know i still put a RUSH on the order... Also again the client didnt pay the required amount which we asked him to pay first. The client did request for same day setup. We mention we will try to do it in 24 hrs but no guarantee. as not a lot of staff at burst have DA license access.
We still try our best. But never made any Promise to this client.
Divinehost: May i ask if you even bother to Email us??? and asked us the status of it. Instead you made a post here. Have you contacted us via Email??? No offense but how can you accuse us when you never emailed us or asked us???
Just to clear we had the server in stock ready to be used. Its Mainly DA install which some time requires REFORMAT the HDD.
Please email us if you have any further question. You should be able to get the server today if we get the email from burst.

I did email you several times, and have yet to recieve an reponse. Also, I did follow procedure perfectly the first time. I canceled the server, and decided to order 2 instead (how can you complain about getting even more business, I have no idea???). I admit the second time I didn't "check" if it was in stock (why you would have an out of stock item listed on your site, again, I have no idea), but I talked to you on AIM before sending payment to make sure the server was in stock so I see no problems there.
Back to the point, I have sent several emails and have yet to see a reponse. I am going to send ANOTHER email, and if I don't get a response in 2 hours, I am going to request a refund.
