Aussie Hosts Turns For Home

Queensland, Australia (Brisbane) July 7, 2004 -- Aussie Hosts (www.aussiehosts.com) closes off its US based hosting and turns its focus back on to the local web hosting market.

Aussie Hosts, the web hosting division of the Enhanced Design and Information Technology (EDIT) Group, provides Plesk based shared and reseller hosting services throughout the US and Australia. Orders for new services on its US servers are now closed, and existing servers will continue to be well maintained by the Aussie Hosts team. This draws to an end 4 years of development and growth of its US hosting brand, Enhanced Host.

"In 2000 we decided to turn our attention to the US hosting market after 2 years of providing local services here in Australia. We have seen many providers come and go, some more spectacularly than others, and have remained focused and on track by concentrating on the one aspect of the web hosting industry that often gets over looked - customer service. We have gained a fantastic reputation by making sure we keep an honest and open working relationship in place with every client, many of whom have been with us for 4 or 5 years. We will continue to provide a top level of service to the overseas component of our client base, whilst we now focus on the Australian market" said Gary Meadows, owner of the EDIT Group.

Voted the 2003 Number 1 Web Hosting Top Buy by the Australian PC User Magazine, Aussie Hosts has seen tremendous growth in its Australian based services over the last 18 months, and now plans to concentrate its marketing and advertising efforts on various media outlets throughout Australia.

"We have had varying degrees of success with a number of different providers locally, and have learnt by some earlier mistakes. We have always maintained the same group of core priorities, primarily related to the level of service we need to provide to our clients, and have subsequently left behind a number of providers who are not in a position to provide the level of service that we require" added Mr. Meadows.

With a number of new services under development, the EDIT Group is looking forward to an exciting second half of 2004 as it firms itself as a leading provider of local Internet and related services.
