I would be interested in "Value Server" with Cpanel for some IRC purposes (only psybnc and eggdrops).
The server even with Cpanel after first month will be only $35. right?

Is the Windows 2003 install the standard edition or the datacentre edition?

If it's the datacentre edition, does your license permit you to run it on these machines? I was under the impression it only came with huge machines on which every piece of hardware was certified by MS themselves.

How many servers share the link? Are there multiple providers or just the one listed on the website?

He says;

"Mention WHT and you can get free windows 2003 standard server on Server I-III"

in his first post.

But also says:

"Free Plesk or cPanel (Linux) or Free HostingController (Windows 2003 DataCenter)"

If you want to know more about the datacentre edition:

from what I understand their BW offers are in gigabits not gigabytes of bandwidth, just a heads up.

So.. For $20 a mth, we get:
AMD D1.2GHz
512MB DDRAM
20 Free IPs
60GB EIDE Hard Drive
685GB Data Transfer

And we get free cpanel too?

Is this deal too good to be true? Knowing that other providers charge about $20+ a mth just for a cpanel licence alone?

I don't know.. but I'm pretty sure you can bet cpanel charges at least like $15-$20 per month for internal licenses...

sentris has yet to reply to anyone on this thread, that $20/month would take months to even recover hardware costs let alone pay the other bills. Pricing like this is what puts places out of business.... maybe they're already gone and thats why he hasn't responded

lol. If they answer these questions, I will try them.

Also, I remember this text from managed.com (copied from host4you.net)

Quote:
Managed Services: Free E-Mail Support (Unlimited); Free MRTG; Free Manual Reboot (Unlimited); Free OS Restore; Free Software Installation; Free Hardware Installation; Free Kernel Recompile; and Free Security Patches Update.
Quote:
Standard Features: 24/7 Network & Server Monitoring; 99.99% Uptime Guarantee; Full Root/Administrator Access; No Restrictions on Contents; No Sales Tax; and No Contract Required (Monthly Billing).
All true or just a copycat?
