Hey all,

I'm an independent developer that is looking to get into the hosting software business. What I'm curious to hear is what sort of software you would consider purchasing that doesn't exist, isn't very good, or is too expensive. My aim is to work on specific types of web-based applications, instead of an all-inclusive control panel system or something along those lines. If you could respond with something along the lines of "I would like a customizable shopping cart system that supports PayPal", that would be very helpful. Any feedback you can offer is greatly appreciated.

Another PHP encoder to rival ioncube, currently they are one of the only encoders I know of that works online, as a live script.

Aim for an all in one solution which would allow resellers to offer their resellers a billing system with real time account creation using cPanel.

I am sure there is a place for this type of system out there (seeing what happend with cpanelsubs).
