Cpanel suddenly stopped creating MySQL Databases. When we try to create a db named "test" It outputs
Database test is created.

(but not "user_test" , it used to create like that)

It does not create the directory in datadir. Datadir is correctly named in my.cnf. But it can see the older databases or can see if i create a manual directory on datadir. Though it can not write on it through phpmyadmin.

Tried most of the things, but maybe i miscatch something, any help..

try resetting your root mysql password sometimes helps.

In this instant something happened to the root mysql password which is found in the /root/.my.cnf file.

For future verification that file should look something like this:

[client]
user=root
pass=************

* denotes root mysql password

thelinuxguy suggestion worked because it updated the file with the new mysql root password.
