setup ftp server


hi everyone

my server is linux and cpanel. I log in cpanel and click FTP FTP Manager -->Ftp account ---> Add FTp account--> user and pass.

let say i created a user name "hello",pass is 123456 and my domain is mydomain.com.How do i log in ftp by that user name
is that ftp://hello@mydomain.com ?i tried but it doesn't work.anyidea? thanks alot

is that right? how can my user "hello" can log in my ftp ? for me i can log in if i type ftp://mydomain.com with admin and pass,but for other user they can't,any ideA?

Any of the suggestions should work. If they can't login, seems the FTP account wasn't setup properly.

but the thing is when it pop up a window asks me about user and passowrd,i put my user and pass and press ok ,but it keeps asking me user and pass -->doesn't let me log in

As mentioned in my last post. Try re-creating the ftp user account in Cpanel. Possibly it didn't take, or wasn't created properly. Try to create another one, and try again.
