Ssl

hello

i honestly don't know how SSL works, but i want to add "https" to some domains of a shared hosting

i generated a self-signed certified + key

since the server runs cpanel, i went to WHM and selected "Install an SSL Certificate and Setup the Domain" and added it

it worked for the first domain
but the second domain I added seens to work too but it doesn't get added in the "List SSL Hosts" and it redirects to the first domain

any ideas?

Did you create a new ssl cert for each domain?

You didn't by chance use the same ip for both.

You could check in your httpd.conf file for the virtual host entry for the sites you installed your certificates on and look for entries that look like:

Code:
<IfDefine SSL>
<VirtualHost xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:443>
......stuff.....
SSLCertificateFile /usr/share/ssl/certs/somedomain.com.crt
...more stuff.......
</VirtualHost>
</IfDefine>
There should be two one for each domain with a certificate and each with a unique ip address.
