Hello All,
I have recently update my cpanel to 9.4 on RedHat 7.3 server.It worked fine until I noticed that exim is failed showing message that package exim isn't installed.
Since then I attempted everything from /scripts/upcp,/scripts/exim4 etc I am n't able to solve the error.Now I tried everything ,even data center refused to solve it for me.
I am investigating in /var/log/exim_mailog file I found these lines for last six days:

Now I wonder whther the packages are updated or not?My cpanel shows 9.4 version but i doubt packages are updated.
I tried up2date on shell it shows sometyhing like this:

Is there any relationship in exim failed,and this ?My demo account is disabled with RedHAt Networks..so my packages aren't updating or else!!
What could be the problem?

So you mean to say that this isn't causing problem ? or i am guessing it wrong way?
Yes I need your help for exim as data center also couldn't solve it !!!
Actually when I checked /var/log folder I found exim_paniclogs.gz files along with exim_rejectlogs.gz files which I hav't seen before.I didn't check it but I guess there is something which I think will causing problem ..
I saw these lines inexim_mainlog :

The up2date has nothing to do with it.

Please look at the lines I pasted in the previous queries.Those Lines are from /var/log/exim_mainlog file.

Those are related to exim not installing correctly, which is happening because rpm is sefaulting on install.

I chceked the exim_paniclog file .It has the same lines as above :

that has nothing to do with it, exim is not installed correctly and will not be installed correctly untill you correct the rpm issue, you got to start at the root which is rpm segfaulting.

ok !!
Now I tried to rebuild rpm on server but even that dosen't work.
You were asking about some glibc etc installed ...in my last thread.Actully I think it might have upgraded the glibc with cpanel etc upgrade.I don't know exactly.
Data center people said that filesystem is corrupt and they tried to debug the core files generated ...
But I don't know how they are doing that?
Is there any way to getvrid of segmentation fault!!
Actually can you tell me why it is showing seg fault?What that error mean?
I know segmentation unit and some theory but didn't hear about such fault..
Am i accessing the memory location which isn't avialiable or else?
What dose error seg fault mean?If possible can you give me some link helpful!!

A seg fault can be caused by many things, bad liberys, bad ram, bad hardware, etc.

A segmentation fault occurs when your program tries to access memory locations that haven't been allocated for the program's use.
