Question

how quickly could Hostgator set me up?

This is a question for people who are currently using Hostgator.

I need to transfer my site across to Hostgator asap as my current host is asking for the next 3 months of payment - and their plan really sucks.

Has anyone had any experience with doing this?

Also, I'm wondering how secure my transactions will be with them paying via credit card etc as I am in Australia.

Have you asked Hostgator these questions? They would be the best people to answer them.

As long as site uses 128bit SSL and a reputable payment gateway, you are doing as much as you can to secure your credit card details.

PS I am form AUS and use my cc all the time (at reputable site of course) All the best.

hostgator is NOT in the biz of ripping people off. they are reputable and VERY, VERY reliable.

no complaints here. i'd trust them with a multi million dollar business.

they know what they're doing and they DELIVER. their payment gateway is as good as it gets.

don't waste your time with b.s. hosts.

Hostgator is indeed very good. It takes 24-48 hours for DNS and other transfers and once your card is approved it will be done within that time frame.

The exchange rate and transaction fees are a real b*tch thought!
