FREE - Remote Server Monitoring

I've developed a server monitoring app. It works much like nagios but more user friendly. Right now its in the early stages of Beta so there could be some problems or bugs. I have tested it on my 130 server network at work and it actually performs bett er then nagios does.
I'm looking to test it in a real world enviroment before it goes live. I'd like to see the real CPU/RAM/bandwidth usage of wor king outside the network. So I'm gonna add people as I feel the system can handle it.

Like I said its beta so it can end at anytime when it goes public and from there I'm gonna offer beta testers a 50% discount. If you sign up I'd like as much feedback as possible both good and bad. Below are the requirements for the public beta

- Server MUST be pingable from the outside
- thats it.

What my system does is that it pings a machine and if its up it'll prob services yhe user sets up to see if they are up and ru nning. If it can't get a ping back it thinks the whole server is down. Right now it'll send out email/text messages to a textb ased pager.

So if you want to join you have to contact me with the following details

username
Name
Company
email

you can contact me via PM/email (mike at zcentric dot com) / AIM Hijinks7

I have no clue how long the beta period will run through.. could be 2 months or 2 weeks.

Once I sign you up you will sent a email with further instructions..

Thanks
Mike

sprintserve: i do every 5 minutes. You can set intervals at which your get paged also. Right now its in its very early stages.. so beta testing might last for months and months. There will be reduancy built in so that if my main connections goes down there is a 2nd ISP to monitor from and if the datacenter burns down.. there is a offsite server.

gmail: i've been a active member on these forums for years.. How can i possible scam giving away a free service. I'm testing how many customers I can add before i get overloaded so I don't screw over my whole customer base.

Are you going to release the software or just the monitoring service?

just the service for now.. the monitoring system itself is C code that dumps data into a DB and that uses php for the "frontend"

my last job was at a very large ISP and I was in charge of developing a system to let T1 type customers know when their servers/line might be down. So i have vast experience. Right now the app is young and a ton of changes will be made.

My one idea is to offer a snmp service that you allow only my server to connect readonly to your snmp server and from there i can plot all sorts of data from your system to let you know what your peak time is.. or how soon you will have to upgrade a harddrive or such
