I've developed a server monitoring app. It works much like nagios but more user friendly. Right now its in the early stages of Beta so there could be some problems or bugs. I have tested it on my 130 server network at work and it actually performs bett er then nagios does.
I'm looking to test it in a real world enviroment before it goes live. I'd like to see the real CPU/RAM/bandwidth usage of wor king outside the network. So I'm gonna add people as I feel the system can handle it.
Like I said its beta so it can end at anytime when it goes public and from there I'm gonna offer beta testers a 50% discount. If you sign up I'd like as much feedback as possible both good and bad. Below are the requirements for the public beta
- Server MUST be pingable from the outside
- thats it.
What my system does is that it pings a machine and if its up it'll prob services yhe user sets up to see if they are up and ru nning. If it can't get a ping back it thinks the whole server is down. Right now it'll send out email/text messages to a textb ased pager.
So if you want to join you have to contact me with the following details

Name
Company

you can contact me via PM/email (mike at zcentric dot com) / AIM Hijinks7
I have no clue how long the beta period will run through.. could be 2 months or 2 weeks.
Once I sign you up you will sent a email with further instructions..
Thanks
Mike
