Mini earthquake just now in California

Wow! We just had a little earthquake here, just wondering if anyone else felt it? I'm in San Diego, CA (USA).

I'd hate to live anywhere that's prone to earthquakes

They are actually quite fun, as long as their not too bad. I think it's better than living somewhere prone to twisters

I'd rather be up here in Tornado Alley than in Earthquake Village At least here you get to watch the cool storms and experience power outages, and see cows go flying by.

Although that sounds like fun, I have to disagree with you. It's better to be in "Earthquake Village" because you feel like your actually in a tornado. You just have that helpless feeling when your in an earthquake.

He means an earthquake that isn't bad enough to do damage, just strong enough to shake you around a bit. I prefer tornado alley rather than earthquakes.
In the plains states you can see them coming for almost miles, and if you have proper shelter you will likely be okay.
Its more dangerous in places where there are lots of trees, they obscure your vision of the horizon as well as providing a lot of heavy objects to fall on your property/house/family/yourself/etc.

Not sure where in tornado alley you are, but southern Missouri also had an earthquake today:

    Oh wait! I felt something!

Nope, sorry...that was just the Lakers fan's jaws hitting the floor.
