co.za Domain Support on Dedicated or VPS?

Hi,

I was wondering if anybody here hosts a .co.za domain on a VPS or Dedicated server and if so with which reseller. co.za has a very strict policy on reverse DNS and Im trying to find a VPS that supports it. If you do host a co.za then obviosly that host supports the co.za requirements. I really appreciate your time.

Just a note, this isn't a hosting request; I am just interested in anybody who supports co.za's.

all hosting supports any kind of domain

just delegate the domain to the hosting nameservers and will work fine

i have tested it with all kind of domains .xxx .xxxx .xx.xx .xx all works

You would think so, but this isn't the case with co.za, I am hosting many different tld's, but co.za first do a check of your DNS server and then only let you proceed with the registration. Very backwards, I know.

there is some ccTLDs registrars does this true.

so its a matter of hosting the domain on the registrar DNS and then register the .co.za name

.co.za is "intresting". You have to make sure that forward/rdns is setup on the servers and everything in propergated then they manually swing it over AFAIK

Correct, I've argued with their tech support that this is not necessary.
