I just signed up for a new Intel Dual Xeon 2.8GHZ w/HT with AngelNetworkz. In exchange for all the wonderful help I've received from all of you here at WHT, I'm going to keep a blog of sorts here in this thread, to provide future shoppers with an idea of the kind of service angelnetworkz.net provides. Hopefully, it will be a good experience.
I am actually not a reseller or web host of any kind, so I have no bias when it comes to this review. I run gtplanet.net, the largest Gran Turismo community on the internet, as my hobby. I am no Linux expert, as I'm sure you will notice from a few of my later entries in this thread, so it might be good to show just how patient Angelnetworkz is. My website will also serve as a good place to test of the speed of Angelnetworkz, as well as a reference point to others who are looking to host a vBulletin forum on a comparable server with them. So, wish me (and angelnetworkz), good luck! Here goes nothing....

Thanks for the offer to write review. This will definitely help people.
BTW, my AN server is down now for 30 mins and no reply from them yet.

Don't worry. It may be one odd incident. Usually they respond very fast.

Well, OK...how long does it usually take for them to setup a server?

It ranges from 1 hour to 3-4 days depending on the number of orders. I got mine in 7 hours. Usually you should get within 48 hours.

I would go ahead and plan on the longer setup time since AngelNetworkz is running a sale right now. They're probably pretty backlogged.

Why does everyone wait until after I send them $1400 to post bad comments about them? This might have been a bad move...nevertheless, here's an update on my order status...

Lancia, they have a 7 day money back guarantee, and even if you prepay them and decide you're not content you can cancel at any time in the future and get your unused months refunded.

Crocket just for the record, someone (one of your clients) did something to the server as it was and damaged the drive. The current delay is us trying to save your data from the old drive.
If you don't need it I can have the server to you in 10 minutes but since the problem happened so suddenly I figure you're going to want the data off the old drive.

Donna, it is good to see you here. I've heard quite a few good things about you and your company and I look forward to doing business together. Hopefully it will be a good experience!

Don't worry. Donna compensates well for any lost time. I wouldn't say everyone had a smooth ride but I can say for sure that a big majority of them are satisfied and happy. Even I had some problems with AN but I can definitely say I am very satisfied with their service. Someone will always have problems with any host but what ultimately matters is how well the host responds to your problems. AN is doing a pretty good job in that aspect.
