I don't know much about the structure of colo pricing, but that
sounds like a good deal.

Colo usually goes for $35 a U so take $35 out of $75 and you're left with $45 for 10 GB of BW. Not too bad... it's including power and what not and maybe a remote reboot port?

Where do you came up with that figure ? .. .. last I knew only a place or two charged that low .. and that was not including power.

We charge 100.00 for a 1U colo with power included (the 75.00 special is of course with power included)

just because

Dang thats whats wrong with this economy, everyone thinks people only buy on price, last i knew wizardshosting.com was a superior outfit, he doenst have to charge (35.00/u) too compete, 70.00 is a competive number for a superior outfit...

Were all going to be the death of ourselves.

This is a bit off topic but... wouldnt the customer want a contract that says the server will be sent back for a fee of x$ once the person stops using your service.

Yeah, it is kind of off-topic

We actualy have a drafted contract that can be setup for a month to month basis that says exacly that, just becuase I had seen this issue surface before here in WHT.

But I als say that if you fear the host will not send your server back, don't do business with them

Sorry.. I just told him what I've seen 1U colo go for on these forums. That's by no means the standard pricing or anything...

If I had a server, I would go for it but pricing out servers are too expensive
