Hello,

We just made an advertising deal with one of our clients that couldn't handle hosting fees anymore... Anyway, I made a quick flash banner based mainly on name recognition.

I would like to have somke feedback on it. Especially if you think that the flash isn'T a good idea, etc. I considered the animated gif but for equivalent stuff, the flash is 6k and the gif is about 30k. The sites it is displayed on is mainly for webmaster, thus we can expect them to have flash installed as well.

I like it! Good contrast and some animation that will catch the viewer's eye.

Only thing is, will it stand out enough (in terms of colors, contrast, etc.) from the webmaster's site? If not, then people might just move straight past it...

Ahhhhhhh, now I see it. Not bad at all, as his site's generally orange and white. It stands out reasonably well.

You might want to make the blue-ish background a bit more blue to make it stand out more and contrast so that users do at least pay some attention.... That's the only tip I have.

Yep, better now Even more blue would be good (personally speaking anyway since I love blue) but I think that intro should be fine as it is. Good stuff.

yah, it won't be any MORE blue... I personally prefer dark grey-blue over blue-blue sooo

That was a compromise. I would like to have some other comments from other people. I am a bit worried that some people might not see it since it is flash. I am not sure it would be any real problem though.

Well chosen colors. I like the "machinery" animation, but I think the other part (blue) is too complicated. Too many words cramped together, and if the words "Can-Host Networks" is designed with intention to overpower the rest, it didnt. Maybe its the font, cursive fonts like this dont look "legible" at first glance. And the animation of the words appearing one by one went by too quickly before it can make an impact.

That's what I call a review
A few notes on this... We have a space problem for sure, but the solution that I see is... stop offering sopme of them

I want them all to be visible at the same time.

I also wanted the stuff that we offer to be more visible than our company name, as they are what is going to attract someone, not our company name.

I agree with the speed a bit too fast... the idea I have is to make "can-host networks" appear alone, brighter and more noticable, and after a second or 2 make the other stuff pop up quickly.

I am not sure that I understand what you mean by not being legible... personally I think that cursive writting looks a bit 'classier' and 'sweet'. I didn't want to throw in the big stuff at first, our site does that already.

I am changing it a bit again, keep giving me your opinion, it's highly appreciated
