Well, I've decided that I want to get a rack server cabinet.
I'll put my 2 towers in there, plus a few more rack servers and various rack components. This will reduce the clutter in my computer room, and I'll use a KVM switch to control them from 1 monitor, keyboard and mouse.

Doing some research, I've found some nice cabinets:
http://www.startech.com/serverracks/cabinetdisplay.htm
http://www.mfb.com.au/cabinets/nscab.htm
http://www.apcc.com/products/netshelter/index.cfm
http://www.datacabinets.com/e72032a.htm
http://www.rackmountequipment.com/pr...s/RE03034.html

But I have to make a decision on if I should get a cabinet with mesh screen front and rear doors, or doors with little ventilation and possible get a small rack mount air conditioner like this one:
http://www.mfb.com.au/access/air.htm

Anyone have any experience or thoughts to share?

Although I'm not experienced in cabinets, I do have a thought to share : you'd want to get a cabinet or a configuration that allows you the maximum amount of ventilation possible, or at least one which will allow you to keep the cabinet room and the computer at a constant temperature, so that the servers don't have to deal with the problem of environmental temperature fluctuations.

We use shark racks... they are pretty nifty, but a bit expensive... However, they have front & rear door, removable panels, locakble doors, etc. They are strong and built to stay.

Now, I have no idea what is their url though :I

I found one with a sweet built in air conditioner:
http://www.computerspecialtiesinc.com/glasshouse.html

Runs quite, 2 speeds. Some models have a built in UPS also.
I consider this to be the ultimate cabinet. It should be for the price of $4,000 - $10,000 !

Their website it terrible, but their support people are very friendly.

They sent me a brochure, and I scanned in a better picture of the cabinet for you:
http://www.laddergames.com/ac_cabinet.jpg <-click here to see it.

Over the last few weeks, I've been doing alot of cabinet research. Here are my favorites so far:

(you can buy these Great Lake cabinets here:

If anyone else has some links, please share.
