Domain transfer and nameservers.

I want to transfer a domain from Network Solutions to Enom. This particular domain (eg. mydomain.com) was also used to register two nameservers (eg. ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com).

Question is - will the nameservers I registered be transferred if I transfer the domain?

Thanks.

The DNS and nameserver info is retained when you transfer the domain over.

Thanks, but I just realised that my first post may be misleading.

So just to be clear, I'm not talking about the nameservers you specify to resolve DNS for that domain. I've transferred a few domains before and the domain and nameserver info for that domain was transferred seamlessly. I'm talking about the registrations for the actual namervers themselves.

Hope that makes sense.

yeah they get moved.

you know whats funny, when i check the status of a nameserver i registered at netsol or bulkregister @ enom they mention where the nameserver was originally created! even though the nameserver was created at netsol then moved to bulkregister then moved to enom, when i check the status at enom interface it says it was created at netsol
