MIDPHASE TO ACQUIRE ANHOSTING/ANHOSTS SHARED CUSTOMER BASE AND COMPANY ASSETS

Chicago, IL - June 7th, 2004 - midPhase Services, Inc., a leading and growing web hosting provider
based in Northwest Chicago-land, announced today that it has entered an agreement with AN Hosting/AN
Hosts to acquire the shared web hosting client base of then Chicago-based website hosting firm.
midPhase will retain the AN Hosting and AN Hosts names and services to shared customers.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed. As part of the agreement, midPhase and AN Hosting
will move to a new office in downtown Chicago.
"Several years ago, AN Hosting broke new ground by offering a remarkable value in web hosting
to its customers. We hope to continue to build and grow from this tradition," said Zak

AN Hosting is one of a small group of Chicago-land-based web hosting providers. The close
proximity to midPhase, in Northwest Chicago, allows AN Hosting operations to be easily merged
into midPhase. While the brands will stay separate, midPhase will combine billing, sales,
support and all administrative operations. midPhase will continue to employee much of the AN
Hosting staff, including Mark Choi, co-founder of the company.
