How can I provide a .zip site download to customers?

I would like to offer my customers the ability to go to a webpage and by simply clicking on a button have their entire website contents zipped up and then presented to them as a download - i.e. make them ultimately responsible for their site's contents.

There's got to be a simple .asp page or app that does this, but I haven't had any luck finding one.

Suggestions?

Do you have a control panel for your customers. cPanel CP comes with this function built in if you use the X theme or xController theme. It will do a full siteback up to a tar ball or just back up mySQL databases, lots of different items can be saved. Also your web host or you should be doing a backup of your domain using the root control panel and then they or you can do a full site restore for your clients if requested.
Hope this helps a little.

We run our own servers and they're IIS6, so no cpanel. If I had the time I'm sure creating an .asp page to do this would be cake, but someone has got to have done this already at least 50x So just looking for a script to do this (asp, java, whatever)

Thanks!
