Hi, maybe look in the Shared Hosting offers forum, you may find what you need there.
You could also try the Hostquote option in this forum.
Or, you could just look around, browse the forum, view users signatures, and contact a couple of hosts through an instant messaging system, and ask away, got anything to loose.
Im sure you will find what you are looking for, just dont expect it to be that cheap, bandwidth is more expensive than space.
Cheers!
Josue.

Thanks for your suggestion.
In the meanime, I surfed the web and I find these sites:
cheapwebhosting.com
webhostingratings.com
Both present Lunarpages as best hosting, but Lunar doesn't accept Paypal.
Both also iclude ******.com as a good supplier. I check: ****** accept Paypal, but Ialso found some unhappy clients And this worried me.
Can you advise me about ******.com or other suppliers?

I have already seen it and someone, as powweb.com, are very interesting (eve if it doen't accept Paypal). But I prefer to hear your experience, because every host site explains that they are the right solution and that their services are very good: I think that Client experience is very usefull in order to choice a satisfying solution and avoid not seroius suppliers.
Many thanks for your help and your suggestions.

Very good . If revenue is the only criteria, I can avoid all host directories !!! And so this posts and this forum is my only source of true information!!
But also web host suggested in webhostingtalk.com/showcases/0/0.html is advertising

I would still stick with the Host Quote feature above, people's signatures and searches on here and Google.
PLEASE keep your budget realistic. it should be around $1.00 - $2.50 per gig of bandwidth/transfer, otherwise you'll be back here within two months looking for a new host.

Doing a search on these forums can help in assessing the quality of hosts. Regarding your paypal issue, better email each host you're considering and ask if they accept it. Many do, although they don't say it on their websites.
2mhost is right. You have to be careful about most "best hosts" or "top hosts" lists as they are usually very biased. Carefully assess what is mere advertising and what is truth.
Also, are you sure you need that much bandwidth? If you don't, don't try so much to get the best bang for your buck. It's been often said (and TRN Douglas already noted this) that $1/gb of data transfer is a good rule of thumb.
Good luck!

Many thanks for your help. I read a lot of old posts last night (I'm in Italy) and I decided to choose my supplier among:
- Hostgator, 30 gb 14.95 $, Paypal accepted
- Lunarpages 40 gb, 7.95 $ (if they accept Paypal, I wrote them an email)
- ultraunix.net 35 gb, 13.99 $, Paypal accepted
- hostrocket.com 40 gb 9.95 $
I read a lot of good posts about these hoster: I'm sure they are very reliable and serious

Congrats!, your shortlist is indeed good. For past few months, I have read very good reviews about LP and HG. Don't know much about rest two though.
