What Mail Server to Use with Helm?

What are the recommended mail server(s) to use with the Helm control panel?

I want to steer clear of MS Exchange, and use a solution that best suits Windows Server, IIS 6 and Helm. The software would need to cater for a condsiderable amount of SMTP/POP3 mail, as the server will be used as a shared environment.

Thanks!

Merak seems to be popular with a lot of Helm forum users, but I guess it's what you can afford. It also supports IMail, MailEnable and Smartermail.

Mailenable Standard if you don't need a webmail interface. Bonus is that it is free.

Mailenable Pro if you need the webmail interface. Pricing on maienable site but very reasonable.

Hello

Well thats correct dont go for mail enable standard version if you want webmail.

For webmail if you have a low budget select mail enable professioanl version, and beside this if you have a very high budget then use IMail..

Even better. Get the standard version and use a better web based email solution.

You don't have to buy the Pro version just for a webmail. Configure UebiMiau .

SmarterMail is a great mail program. They are just about to release Version 2.0 and it looks awesome.

I would agree with Tony. We use SmarterMail / Stats / Tickets. Bryon has been very helpful when I screwed up an update and has always answered my questions. SmarterMail is very easy to use I think & my customers seem to really like it

We use Mail Enable Standard with HELM.

For web mail we use UebiMiau.

In one of the server we use Mail Enable Pro, still we have UebiMiau Web Mail Installed as usual and many users prefer that as it have multi language support.

Think Mail Enable Standard is popular with HELM as its free.
