3 letter .com's - how much are they worth?
a LOT, I know.
how much would a 3 letter .com domain thats: LNL.com worth on average?
does it matter if its LLL, LLN, LNL, NLL, LNN, NLN, NNL, LLL... 'etc?
L = letter
N = numberIWDN - Really smart web developers... and me!

If it has a meaning I have seen some $xx,xxx if it is random then likely $x,xxx or sometimes high $xxx - kind of depends if the market is saturated at the time.... very valuable though..

Only LLL's are 3-letter domains, the rest are 3-character domains.

This is my valuation model, based on sales experience - there are exceptions of course.
LLL's $950 - $xxx,xxx
LLN's $20 - $x,xxx
LNN's $20 - $x,xxx
Other combinations: low $$ with few exceptions. Some letters are appealing in any order, e.g. a/i/e/s
Some letter/number combinations either pronounce as a word, are visually similar to words or actually mean something in other languages, e.g. Chinese, Korean, Arabic etc.

I never new that they were that valuable, even the LNN's. Strange how we are driven to condense our memory banks for the long term

hmm...
I'm not sure, I spend a lot of time buying and selling domains. 3 letter domains... hmm.. haven't had much luck witha lot of them. They seem to be popular though. go to mydomainfriend (a dot com) and put the alaphabet in the first, second and third columns, you can then do a search and find any 3 letter domains that are still available.
That should good give you a good idea about their value.

Have seen lots of poor quality 3 letter .com's sell for under $200, though was 18mths-2 years ago now, prices sure have moved up a lot.
Act.com was sold many years ago, during the tech boom.

Their company name was Seven Investment Management or something... so the domain worked for them.
And yea... I was kinda suprised by the offer one day. I'm like 4k? Ok!

Nice sale! Did the buyer want it for the 'im' part of the name, or do you not know the buyers intentions?

IntraHost actually started out as a Free URL Redirection Service offering http://you.intrahost.com to forward to http://www.geocities.com/hollywood/s...te/index.html.
The other side of intrahost was that we sold the script that we had programmed so that others could start thier own free URL redirection service. Nifty huh? ;-)
7im.com was one of the domains we had in the service. As well as efoot.net, and webwirl.com. All of which are being sold now btw. I love the domain efoot.net... just don't have a use for it right now.
