How NOT to charge clients on 2checkout

Let's say I run a promotion where I give clients 2 months free, but they need to pay the first month up front. How do I avoid charging the client for the following two months and then reinstate the recurring charge on the fourth month?

What billing software are you using? Can't you credit them?

All I've used do: ModernBill, Drams, Ubersmith...
And I think most billing softwares now use a credit system.

No billing software yet since I dont have a large pool of customers. I want to start running a promotion to offer two or three months of free service. I was thinking of starting them off immediately, but I would hate having to ask them for their credit card information on the fourth month.

So, if I do charge them and then refund, there's no harm correct?

Make sure to make the refund within 24 hours after billing -- OTHERWISE your get charged 5.5% (unless you have a special deal, as we have) and $0.45 again.
