Chicago Colocation - Besides ServerCentral
I am looking for other facilities that offers colocation beside ServerCentral since I have dealt with them before and have great experience with them.
Just I need to see what other alternatives is out there for one person who is looking for a place to setup in Chicago for new launch of the business.
Something along the line like 1/4 to 1/2 cabinet with dual network feeds drops with diverse backbone connectivity, like ServerCentral or something close to it.
well my number 1 recomedation would be ServerCentral, but since you said someone else I would try netfire.com
Are you looking for providers in chi equinix?
you can also try Equinix direct or a reseller. I believe they offer 1/2 cabs?
Yes..I am looking for a facility to do colocation for the servers. I have excellent things to say with ServerCentral, but he want to know what other alternatives is out there beside them to look into.
Call it little conflict of interest.
Web Hosting Talk
Coloquest looks nice, I honestly have not heard much about them, I recommend you doing alittle personal research.
I'd look for someone in Equinix Chicago.. I've been there and the DC and security is awesome.. double mantrap and each sector of the DC is cutoff from the rest.
Worth a look into
peer1 out of equinix chiago. drop me a line and i'll forward you the contact info for the right person to talk to.
Defender Hosting has pure Nlayer in Chicago.
do a google search "colocation chicago" will give a few more choices
I agree on coloquest.com .. my server there has awesome connections out of chicago there
oh, jeff from reflected networks will probably be able to help and is quite actively involved here. as he is one of the very few who keep network engineering discussions here worthwhile, you can be sure you will be in competent hands.
Since we all know ServerCentral is #1 look to another provider inside Equinix (Reflected) or L3 datacenter (Coloquest) or S&D (CIFnet).
I second that. Give reflected networks a call.
