What alternatives are there to RaQ's? Is there any other hardware out there that does the same as RaQ servers? I know theres linux distros with cpanel etc shoved on them. I would love to see a linux distro thats main purpose was that of a RaQ.

All of the major players now offer appliances. Dell, IBM, and Sun all have web appliances. The dell version is called PowerWeb.app. I've not used the offerings from sun or ibm.
I find appliances great for large scale deployments, but for single server operations or just a few boxes, the control panels on top of generic linux is very nice. Ensim, Plesk, HSPhere, and CPANEL all make control panels.
