    Overcharging by host

    Overcharging by host

What remedies do you have when you are overcharged by a hosting co?

Suppose you have a hosting co who overcharges you and then simply ignores your requests for a refund - what remedies are there for resolving the issue.

Thanks - I've looked into it - It'll take weeks to resolve everything but at least its a plan B.

I was being charged via a recurring billing through 2checkout.com on my credit card and was being invoiced via PayPal at the same time - now I'm just being ignored when trying to get my money back.

BTW - I was issued one refund but received an email saying that two refunds had been given by mistake and would I cancel the first. I cancelled the first and the second didn't turn up!

    Cheers

Threaten a charge back (have a new host just in case they get unproffessional which looks possible) They should remedy this quickly as chargebacks cost extra money for them as they lose the original payment + fees

    Hope this helps
