    Installed components display page?

I'm wondering if anyone has a script they'd be willing to share with me - or know where I can find one....

I'd like to display the version of the isntalled components such as cPanel, MySQL, PgSQL, Perl, PHP, etc... all on one page.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks!
    TDI

    Hello,
besides phpinfo.php, I know there's one. it shows your cpu info, apache versions, mysql versions and path etc. I forgot where to download it, but I can send it to you if you want

hmm yeah I have that - but it doesn't include things like cPanel/WHM and SQL/myadmin versions.

And I'd like a user friendly listing - something for the newbies to understand too

Now you are just being picky . You would have to make something, too my knowledge cpanel doesn't do that without logging in.

I know I'd need something created. I was just hoping maybe someone already tackled it and would share.

Now to find a php programmer I guess

    Nah.

    Ask yourself -

    Where is that info stored?

I will give you a hint:

    which apache
    which mysql

    and so on..

Now.. just use system, ``backticks, or whatever in a custom php script.

Also review the source of phpSysinfo, a popular script for this...

Do you think there is something magic about php that it knows all about your system?

Again - think about what you would type in shell to find that information, and then implement that in a php script.

Some php functions you may be interested in for this purpose are:

    system
    passthru
    exec
    `command` #backticks

    happy hacking!
