Blog Program & Website for Sale + Full Code Rights + Domain +Great Potential
Due to a lack of time, I am selling my blog program and website, TwoBlog.com. What I am selling is:
- The Twoblog.com site and domain
- Full Code Rights To the weblog application
Over the past few months, Twoblog has been catching on in popularity, especially since the recent MovableType pricing situation. With a little effort and ingenuity, one could easily turn Twoblog into a community type of site, and make money selling ads, subscriptions, etc. I'd do it myself, but unfortunately, I am not that good with business ventures.
I've recently finished a big rewrite of the code, and polished the user interface, but lack the time and energy to create hype about its release (so the files are still sitting on my dev pc, untouched). These updates are included in this sale. Screenshots of what the new look will be can be found on the main page, http://www.twoblog.com.
If you are wondering about stats and figures for the domain, awstat screenshots are here:

I'm looking for serious offers over $60, but hope to get a bit more. Even then, you're getting a great deal. Please email your offers to daniel{at}twoblog.com.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.Last edited by danieljmccoy; 05-28-2004 at 05:02 PM.

Looks very interesting.
Can you tell me what connection it has to "Bit 5 Blog"?

Daniel, is there a working version of the rewrite that can be checked out?

To answer Gen-T's question first:
Bit 5 Blog is what TwoBlog used to be called. When I decided to scale back features in the interest of simplicity, a few users asked to continue the development of the program as it was. Knowing that I would be completely redoing the code anyways, I allowed them to do so. Bit 5 Blog is a program based on my original work, and is now an open source project (last time I checked at least).
Now to joshp's:
A demo site is being uploaded, and I will post a URL with passwords and such once it is set up.

Ahhh... I see. I saw some sites that had "powered by Bit 5 Blog" but the link went to TwoBlog, yet a search for Bit 5 Blog led to http://bit5blog.sourceforge.net/ so the whole thing was a bit confusing.
I'm interested, and look forward to the new demo.

The front end demo can be found at:
http://twoblog.com/newblog/
And the admin panel (user: admin, pass: spinnach):

I think you will find that everything is in order, thanks for the interest.
Gen-T:
Thanks for bringing it up, I forgot to mention it in my original post.

Daniel, just above the submit button/s is some text "Textarea: Increase size | Decrease size". What is that all about as they are not hyperlinks?

joshp:
That is an Internet Explorer thing. It is supposed to increase or decrease the textarea size when clicked. I can not figure out how to get it to work in non IE browsers. As for the cursor problem, it can and will be fixed prior to sale completion. I am so used to using IE that I completely forgot about that minor "feature".
ALSO:
I need to clarify that Twoblog is a program that can be downloaded, and installed on any server that is compatible with PHP and MySQL (like many other programs: Movable Type, Word Press, etc). I am extremely sorry for any confusion.Last edited by danieljmccoy; 05-28-2004 at 06:30 PM.

Josh, they actually are working buttons. They just don't show the normal cursor change. It still changes, but it's very subtle. If you click them, you will see they change the size of the box (text area).

Do you have a messanger service that I could talk to you with? I am very interested, and will pay quite a bit.

And they even don't notify the ones with the highest bid so far...
