    Online Uptime Monitor

Not sure if this is the right forum, but does anyone know an online uptime monitoring service that I can use for free? I'm looking for something where you type in the URl of your site and it will keep track of uptime and display results whenever you want to check it out.

    Thanks in advance

Saw this earlier, better than 30 minute monitoring if there's any left:

What's the average downtime you guys experience on a monthly basis?

Do the alert programs count as unique visitors to your sites? Could be a mess if you're looking to monitor the organic growth of your site though its stat reports. 'Course, you could always filter out the requests from the monitoring service to keep the records relatively clean...

alertra actually has the httpb monitoring every 20 minutes for 2.99...not a bad service for a small fee

siteuptime.com can send you an email every 30 min or every 60 min, or you can just login and check whenever you want to

Yes, it is well worth it. Remember it's 'httpb' and not 'http' as the latter is much more expensive.
