Hey guys. I'm having a little bit of trouble. I'm newer to hosting. I bought a company (Site, Server, Everything).
I was thinking of keeping the co. but decided it'd be best to just turn around and sell it.
So I got an AIM from JezzoHelp (That's his Screen Name on AIM). He asked me if I was selling the company, I said yes. So he offered me $200. I said ok. So he sent me $100 via PayPal. I sent him the information (Passwords, Logins, etc.) And I never got the last part of the $200.
So I contacted him and said deal was off. I changed passwords, and all. But he changed my server password and took all my customers. I refunded him his $100 and he now wont contact me. He has my domain, server, and all.
He's demanding that I pay him for MY Domains! But worst of all I can't get into my server because he changed the password.
I just recieved a PM to clear up this topic so I will do such. HostInfinte tinted the situation to make me look bad, so let me make it clear.
Phil at HI is the one who backed out of the deal originally. It is true, I did PM him about his webhosting company. He told me that the clients were making $90 and the server was costing $90 per month, so about even. I asked him how much he would like for the clients only, as I can take care of the server needs. He said a high amount, but that is beside the point. After compromising with him, I brought the price down to $200 for clients and web site. (side note: Phil had no proof of the $90 for all the clients and still has none. He purchased the client 2 weeks prior. All he had was the WHM screenies) All was hunky dory peachy keen. In addition, we agreed that I would pay $100 first and then transfer the clients. After getting the clients situated and paying (change paypal address, contact each one, of which they had no contact info for either) I stated I would pay the other $100. In fact, doing such is more reliable because then he can't take my $200. Later on the same day, I contacted him and told him I would need to pay the $100 in about 4 days (3-4 day transaction time on paypal) so I could transfer the rest of the $100 to him.
So, I got the server password and changed that immediately so he wouldn't change that on me. Then I transfered the client domains to my namecheap.com account. So I have been contacting the clients (by what little emails are recorded in WHM) and barely getting any response.
Well, I get an AIM from a client of his stating that i have some of hist domains, so i transfer all of the clients domains back except hostinfinite.com. That helps me as I already have enough domains to manage.
On top of all of this, I not a minor and Phil is still a minor (of which I will not proclaim his age), so should this get into a legal fight, he has no chance. Also, he has no hosting knowledge (like doesn't know what a DNS or domain registrar is).
Side Note: he purchased the company for $100 and made $100 instant profit by selling it to me when he would never make more profit on the company ever (expenses+income = 0).
I do not want to be rude, but these are the kind of teens that taint the teen sterotype of hosting companies.
Btw, I would be glad to resolve this and pay you the rest of the money as I said I would. You are the one who broke the deal, not me. I kept to my word as always. I have references who will back me up as well as previous people who have transfered large amounts of money with me.
The only reason I started to move the clients is because of what we agreed upon. You transfered the ownership to me through the $100. Just because you gave up the money I sent when I was gone and called it a hack doesn't mean you still own the company.
We really need to resolve this. Please contact me Phil as soon as you get home from school *shrugs*.

He's now hacking my site (Deleteing all posts, threads, members, etc.)
Luckly my moderators had a backup.
Please don't make up stories Phil. I never touched the site. In fact, you are the one who changed the pass to the cPanel on HostInfinite thinking you were sly when I could just change it on Root.
And who am I? I am nice and let you keep your cPanel until we resolve the issue.
You contacted me when I was out. I read the logs from dealing with my brother and doing such is not respectable. It only shows the kind of character you have behind my back. I do not appreciate people talking behind my back, especially when they do not present the whole situation.
no offence, but what were you thinking!?!?!?! you gave him control of your company without making him pay first? and then he changes the passwords and you send him his money back? so let me get this straight... you think "oh man! he's changing the passwords without paying me the $100! he's ripping me off! i better send him his money back." that makes no sense! the internet is full of shady people (not saying jezzo is) and you're going to get burned time after time if you don't wise up.
Originally posted by jezzomaster See, the thing is. I am not a shady person because I am confronting the problem and ready to pay the $100. If I was shady, i would have left long time ago. Plus, I am here to help.
The thing is, he shouldn't be complaining when he caused the problem and has NO, i repeat, NO accurate record of any clients or payment or anything. The whole company is slopped together.
You bought the company, and agreed. You didn't pay me the full amount, so I called it off.
You then have the guts to play with my website. I almost lost everything. Thank god my forum technician saved everything and made a backup.
I never played with any of your web site. In fact, I never even touched it. I don't have cPanel pass not domain controls. The fact that your site was hacked is your own fault. I never touched it, and my hand is on a Bible right now.
